Diaphragm Pumps
Professional grade diaphragm pumps available for sale online from some of today’s top leading manufacturers. The diaphragm pump is a commonly used, complete pump capable of high pressure output, medium flow rates and advanced chemical resistance. Diaphragm pump types are self priming, positive displacement pumps. They can draw fluid through tubing, are run-dry capable with an output flow that is directly proportional to pump speed. Diaphragm pumps are engineered with an oil filled piston chamber and a synthetic, thermoplastic diaphragm designed to isolate and protect the pump operating components from damage that could occur from application fluids. This provides superior compatibility and service life for use with chemicals, corrosive solutions, abrasive fluids and suspensions.
Diaphragm pumps are ideal for use in pressure washing, high pressure spray applications, individually designed spray systems, skid sprayers and truck bed spraying systems. The chemical compatibility and high pressure output common with diaphragm pumps makes them great for use in power spraying of chemical solutions for trees, shrubs, lawns, landscapes, buildings, fence lines and other structures. In agriculture, diaphragm pumps are frequently used in power washing of poultry houses, livestock pens, cages as well as crop performance and maintenance chemical applications of orchards, groves, and vineyards. Overall, diaphragm pumps are highly compatible with many modern chemicals and spray solutions including fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides.
Diaphragm pump power options include shaft driven, gas engine, 12V electric and air driven (pneumatic). Shaft driven diaphragm pumps are the most used models set up for hookup with engines and tractor PTO. Shaft drive pumps provide flow rate from 4.3 to 68.7 GPM and pressure from 218 to 725 PSI. Gas engine diaphragm pumps with a Honda® brand motor with either 2.5 HP or 6 HP of operating power. These choices provide flow rate from 5.9 to 14.3 GPM and pressures from 290 to 580 PSI. 12 Volt electric diaphragm pumps are low capacity, low power options ideal for remote work and versatile use, frequently used with ATVs and UTVs. 12V diaphragm pumps offer flow rate from 1 to 3 GPM and pressures from 40 to 60 PSI. Pneumatic (air) diaphragm pumps are powered by compressed air input. Available air pump products offer up to 0.6 GPM and 60 PSI with three different gasket seal options.
Available diaphragm pump model brands include Hypro®, John Blue®, SHURflo® and Delavan®. Diaphragm pumps are available with various construction and seal materials for optimum work use compatibility. Pump housings are made from either polypropylene, aluminum or a poly aluminum combination. Seals vary on model with Viton, EPDM, Desmopan or Buna-N material options available. Diaphragm pump plumbing hose size and hookup options include 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2" and 2" in either HB or NPT style.
