The Chapin® ProSeries™ is a 4 gallon backpack sprayer with piston pump, Viton® seals, spray wand, hose, frame, straps and lid. They feature a professional quality, fast acting, dependable spray pump that builds pressure quickly. It comes with a lever action piston pump designed for easy conversion from left handed or right handed operation to match individual user needs. An adjustable spray tip provides wide to narrow spray area coverage with a turn of the nozzle tip, allowing accurate directional chemical applications. Padded comfort backpack straps easily clip onto the frame and adjust to aid in weight distribution and balance for the perfect fit comfortable on the back even when full. Some assembly is required prior to use with installation designed to be straightforward and easy. The spray pump handle and hose require hookup and straps clipped to the frame. The spray pump handle comes with dual-sided mounting holes to allow for either left hand or right hand use. The Chapin® ProSeries™ backpack sprayer features a 4 gallon heavy duty polyethylene tank. Unit is designed at 4 gallon capacity and engineered to promote top portability, spray versatility and access. The unit weighs 10.2 lbs. The tank is translucent, semi-opaque white for easy visual of liquid levels and to limit solar heating. The Chapin® ProSeries™ 61800 backpack sprayer is engineered for no more clogged nozzles, triggers or tanks. Designed with a three (3) stage filtration system made to keep the unit clog-free and work flow going. Stage 1 is an under-the-lid filter basket for capturing large, unwanted particles during tank filling. Stage 2 is a removable in-tank filter located at the inlet of the pump pressure cylinder. Stage 3 is a removable, in-line fine mesh screen filter located upstream of the spray wand shutoff valve. Altogether, the three stage system provides cleaner, more accurate and long lasting reliable spraying free of debris and clogs. To achieve optimum performance, promote consistent fluid flow and reduce wear, periodic cleaning of the three stage filtration system is recommended.
This backpack sprayer unit comes with a 3 piece adjustable nozzle kit. Nozzle kit includes a high grade brass cone, poly fan and poly cone tips made to match job application needs. Sprayer pump is an internal, no-leak piston style pump that provides up to 40 – 60 PSI max operating pressure range at 0.4 – 0.5 GPM flow rate with a maximum spray stream of 23 feet vertical and 25 feet horizontal. Sprayer hose is 48 inches (4 feet) in length made from clear, reinforced PVC material. Spray wand is a 20” rod made from heavy duty polyethylene. Spray wand features a four position pressure knob for pressure control between 15 – 60 PSI. Spray wand comes with a spray lock and poly cushion grip handle for extended comfort and use.
Note: Backpack sprayers are not recommended for tank solution temperatures of 120º F/ 49º C or greater. Never spray flammable, caustic, acidic, chlorine, bleach or other corrosive type chemical solutions not approved by the manufacturer. Not recommended for powder based chemicals due to potential abrasive wear on the sprayer. When using powder based spray products, ensure chemicals are fully dissolved prior to spraying. Do not spray chemicals that will produce heat, pressure, or gases when used. Do not use backpack sprayers for household, contact surface applications that have been previously used with toxic chemicals such as pesticides. Always read and follow manufacturer’s instructions before use as some chemicals may be hazardous when used with this sprayer. Do not store spray solutions in sprayer when not in use.
