Banding Sprayer Nozzles

Banding sprayer nozzles for use in agriculture applications of herbicides, pesticides and other frequently used crop performance and maintenance spray chemicals. Banding spray nozzles are also common in use for manufacturing, industrial and construction applications. Available banding sprayer tips types include Drift Guard (DG), Air Induction (AI), Even Flat, Twin Flat, JetCone Jet, Full Jet, Underleaf and Air Induction Underleaf Banding (AIUB) nozzles. The banding spray nozzle is engineered for banded spray operations to apply chemicals only across designated areas. Their design provides a distinctive angled and projected band of spray solution that is targeted and focused. Use of banding sprayer nozzles help to prevent overspray, drift and unintended spray coverage. They are used in over row, between row and under leaf applications. Banding sprayer nozzles provide good coverage and penetration for use in pre-emergence and post-emergence, contact and soil agricultural operations.

Available band spraying nozzles are manufactured by TeeJet. Individual models are designed specifically for particular use application needs and chemicals. Drift Guard (DG) banding nozzles feature a unique pre-orifice that produces larger spray droplets and effectively reduces experienced drift rate. Air Induction (AI) banding nozzles inject air into the spray stream to produce air filled droplets intended to provide uniform distribution and reduce drift. Underleaf Banding and Air Induction Underleaf Banding (AIUB) nozzles are specially engineered nozzles with an angled orifice designed to deliver spray solutions beneath crops, foliage cover and under leaves.

Banding sprayer nozzle construction material options include acetal-ceramic, acetal-stainless steel, brass and stainless steel. Tip flow rate options include 0.1, 0.15, 0.2. 0.25, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0 and 1.5 GPM depending on nozzle type. Acetal material nozzle types come in unique color coding for quick, visual determination of tip type and flow rate.
